Rolux UK has just been awarded the Best Medium Sized Business of the Year by the South Cheshire Chamber of Business.
Mr Craig Cartwright and Richard Cooper set up the company in 2003 with the aid of a German supplier. A new manufacturing plant was set up on the Radway Green site near to Crewe in Cheshire. New employees were taken on for survey, manufacture and installation of the products. Products that were available from Rolux UK were Roller Garage Doors, Sun Awnings & Security Shutters for commercial and domestic purposes.The products began rolling out of the factory and Rolux UK were quickly recognised by the local community as a quality supplier and installer.
As the reputation of Rolux UK grew so did the turnover of the local family business. After many months of hard work, Rolux were awarded with the Best Medium Sized Business of the Year 2005 award by the South Cheshire Chamber of business. The directors were invited to Rookery Hall, Nantwich where they were presented with their prestigious award and certificate.
By the end of 2005, Rolux had now exceeded a turnover of £1.2 million serving the local community with quality products. In 2006, not only are now serving the local community but also operate nationwide taking on national contracts. In March 2006, Rolux were awarded the prestigious contract of supplying and installing Sun Awnings at Royal Ascot. The project was completed on the 29th March and a cheque was received for an amount in excess of £30,000. After this, Rolux received many commercial contracts which include Sun Awnings being installed at Henley Boat Museum, London Royal College of Music and after the successful completion of these projects Rolux were contacted to complete a presentation at Wimbledon.
Now in 2018, Rolux are completing contracts on the Wellesbourne Campus at Warwick University and continue to supply quality products to commercial and domestic customers nationwide.
