Rolux UK has been awarded the contract of installing new window security shutters on The Pavilion in the Coventry War Memorial Park.
The window security shutters & improvements are being funded by BIG and Heritage Lottery fund.
Rolux UK has been chosen for this project because of our skills at carrying out bespoke installations with engineering modifications.
The contract is to supply & install extruded aluminium window security shutters to the specification requested on 3 buildings in order to protect the structures from unsocial vandalism. The heavy duty double skinned aluminium is imperative for the contract to ensure the café & other essentials have maximum security. The job requires us to liaise with stone masons currently refurbing the stone ready for the installation of the shutters. The housing for the window security shutters will be contained within the soffit to give a clean, sharp appearance and prevent any potential intruder from damaging the mechanics of the window security shutter.
We are also required to install security shutters on the main entrance doors of the pavilion which requires a larger lath to prevent any weakness and stop the shutter from being forced out of the guides. Using the equivalent of garage door slat with similar guide rails we can be confident that the shutters provide total reliability and security. To complete this system, heavy duty locking straps need to be installed which means the shutter cannot be forced from the bottom.
As the security shutters are required to be electrically operated, we look to install Somfy motors, the market leader, which offers complete reliability. Using RTS technology, we can use group control to operate the window security shutters for ease and convenience.
UPDATE: The window security shutters have now been installed by our fully qualified and CSCS trained engineers. The site manager was impressed with the efficiency, timeliness and courtesy displayed by Rolux UK representatives throughout the contract. This has led to many more contracts throughout the UK for more window security shutters due to our quality workmanship and full communication at all times.
